I used the 6x6 Post Anchor to mount a 6x6 wood post to concrete. The 8 holes on the outside are small so used concrete screws, pre-drilled and used caulk as lubricant/glue. Bought a 1.75" drill bit from Amazon for $15.31 to drill the hole (MKMorse) to 1 7/8" deep, normal hole saws go to 1 3/8". Since you are sledging the round tube several inches deep into the post, i don't think the extra 1/2" makes that much difference. I ordered directly from Titan but it turns out that my local Ace Hardware can get these, in fact they had a display sample. Has a bit of flex, but not much. This is way better than a Simpson strong-tie solution, both in strength and looks. |

| Installed the railing on my two tiered 900 sq ft deck using the 6x6 Titan post anchors. They were incredible easy to install. Once in, my railing is sturdier and more solid than any railing i have installed before.....including notched side braced posts. I would highly recommend this product. | ||||
