I needed a good solution for installing a new handrail system on an existing concrete bridge. The Titan Post Anchors worked great and the homeowner has a rock solid railing system that looks great. I am very pleased with this product and i will be using it again.

Stumbled on this product on-line and gave it a try. Used six 6x6 anchors and found them to be very easy to use and stronger than any other method of attachment. I would definitely use again and would highly recommend them to everyone.
6 x 6 Deck Posts (5/5) Sep 17, 2010 Jesse St. Marys PA US
Purchased 9 - 6 x 6 deck post anchors to assemble to a new construction PT deck surface. Installation to the 6 x 6 was easy, with a little sledge hammer help. The lag screws were a bit short for 2 x 6 decking, so I opted to purchase longer lags to attached through the 2 x 6 decking and into 2 - 2 x 6 scraps together. This proved to strengthen everything very well. Titan deck anchors make my deck look very nice and strengthen everything very well. Would recommend to anyone!

Bought six of the 6x6 anchors and used them on my concrete patio. Six post on a free standing 12' x 16' Pergola. I did not use the 1/4" lag bolts that came with the anchors (for wood decks) but used 1/4" threaded rod lengths epoxied into eight hammer drilled holes. The Titan Anchors have excellent holding strength. I wrapped my 6x6 posts with aluminum and I installed the white Skirts to cover the anchors and I now have a very professional finished look. I am amazed at how sturdy my pergola is.
6x6 post anchor - thumbs up (5/5) May 20, 2010 Tom T Horeseheads NY US
I purchased 3 pieces of the 6x6 post anchor to mount posts to a new construction deck, opting for the galvanized fastener package. I expected, based on the installation video, that mounting the anchor to a PT 6x6 would be a little bit of work but manageable based on the instructions and install video. It was anything but! I used a normal 1.75" depth hole saw with a single cut, choosing to not remove the waste material and drill to a deeper depth. Drill used was a Milwaukee 1/2" hammer drill and Rigid hole saw. Easy to drill - placed Titan anchor on hole and with no more than 6 or 7 hits using a 3# mallet the anchor was set. I had concerns about alignment, as well - orientation or twist of the post relative to the anchor. Laying the assembly on a concrete floor and just a light tap on the side that was high squared everything up nicely.

The application was a little different, in that I was mounting atop deck boards, and placement was over an I-Beam, so lag screws were not an option for attachment. When the assembly was in place and temporarily attached with short screws, I drilled through the decking and steel and connecting using galvanized bolts.

The entire process was easy and quick, and it is a nice, solid connection. I recommend this product without reservation.
